The memories we don't remember
In this deeply personal episode, I explore the invisible roles we inherit before we’re even born and how the environments we enter shape who we become. I talk about growing up without loving memories shared by my parents—no warm stories, no tender moments, nothing soft or comforting unless I specifically asked. That silence became its own kind of wound, one that followed me into adulthood and into motherhood.
Through my own healing, I’ve begun to understand the weight placed on babies long before they can speak, and the haunting experience of not knowing who you were because no one ever held those memories with love. Parenting my own children has become both a mirror and a map—showing me the gaps in my own story while guiding me toward breaking cycles and creating a new legacy rooted in presence, nurture, and truth.
This episode is a journey through the memories our bodies keep, the ones our parents never shared, and the power of reclaiming innocence—both individually and collectively—as we work to build healthier soil for the next generation.
